I updated my Game Reviews – I’ve started some new games, finished some other games, and gave up on a few more. The prominent games in our house right now include:

  • Guitar Hero III [Xbox 360] – this is actually one of Ed’s Christmas presents. I’m not quite sure how it happened, but he managed to get me to agree he could open it over three weeks early, which is utterly unfair
  • Super Mario Galaxy [Wii] – just as fun as everyone tells you it is
  • Mario Party DS – repetitive but still amusing to me, as I never played any of the original Mario Party games. It’s also fun to play multiplayer!
  • And on the PSP, Crush – I picked this one up on a whim, and it’s actually really cool.

I think I’m going to go outside now, though – my butt hurts from sitting on it.

grinching it up

I had loads of holiday spirit late last week, but it seems to have dried up. Now I am just sad and grumpy and thinking about canceling Christmas all together because people pooped all over my fun. Harumpf.

We rearranged our living room, and now it is enormous. We could easily hold a Twister tournament in here. Of course, I’m in a bad mood so all I can think is that the cats now have more places to throw up, but this might be because a cat just threw up.

I can’t think of anything else to say that isn’t incredibly negative and angsty, so I will just say nothing at all.

transform and build me a hotel

Hell yes.

It is awesome. Sure, we already own Star Wars Monopoly and NHL Monopoly, but none of those had Optimus Prime as a marker. Besides, we play Aussie-Rules Monopoly – you’re free to use markers from any of the other sets, and if you really don’t want to own ParkPlace, you can opt to instead buy Cybertron, the Imperial Palace on Coruscant, or the Toronto Maple Leafs (seriously – they’re the top property in the NHL game. wtf?). FUN! Now, if only I could convince my friends it would be fun to play ..
