business as usual

(I don’t know if yesterday’s post scared everyone away – I’m getting a lot of visits but very few comments on the post. c’mon, people. I gave it my best effort!)

Last night Josh mentioned he was scanning old photos and uploading them to the Flickrs. He also took pictures of pictures (mind: blown) so we could all see how cute he was when he was little and how disturbing he was during his rotten punk kid years, in contrast to the beer-soaked beast we frequently mingle with today. Inspired and frankly bored with the Gretzky documentary Ed was watching and trying very hard not to cry to, I decided to scan some myself.

Behold my glory!

Even more horrible photos can be found on my Flickrs. See me as a Brownie! See me in a hat! Check out my horrible, horrible prom dress and the giant rack it contained!

Hopefully this makes up for yesterday.

  1. Also interesting to note how ‘timeless’ the back drops used are. Having seen more recent school photos, I can attest to the fact that they still have not changed.

    And why would they? Timeless.

  2. Your school photos look so much like mine that I’m a little weirded out. I’d almost call shenanigans, but I’m not Asian and my hideous sweater had white in it.

  3. Next time I go for a haircut I’m going to bring in your grade 9 photo and ask Leela to make me look like that. So awesome, so rockin’ out.

You are very photogenic when you’re not sniffing glue.

  4. I love these through-the-years pictures. I am so glad that we all went through terrible hair and fashion choices; it’s like a rite of passage. Also, I don’t feel quite as bad about my extremely awkward photographic past.

Your prom dress? Fabulous! I love wild prints and styles, and that was about as wild as one could ever lay hands on.

  5. 90’s hair is awesome.

I had a bowl cut that made me look like a fat, pudgy cock.

No wonder I didn’t have a girlfriend until I grew my hair out.
