What the hell is Twilight, and why is everybody so excited about it? Every company I’ve ever purchased from online is suddenly sending me spam about Twilight tie-ins, and I have no idea what it is. What is this Twilight thing? Should I be excited or concerned about it? Do I need to know who Belle and Edward are? They sound like jerks. Are they jerks?
I have a headache. It might be related to Twilight.

you might like the book as the hero is gold and sparkly though looking at the movie posters he isn’t in the movie. Otherwise it’s teenage ‘He loves me so I don’t care if he’s a vampire who wants to suck me dry’
I don’t know anything about it, but I remember seeing a headline on Digg that went something like “5 Reasons You Will Hate Twilight: The latest in the conspiracy to make vampires uncool.”
It’s a series of books. Kinda a teenage romance novel in a 4 book set. Full of love triangles with vampires, humans, and werewolves. I read them but not really my usual cup of tea. My 18 yo sister recommended them. The movie looks like crap as the author made the characters impossible to properly represent in real life form and that is half of the appeal. So meh, not something that is a need to, have to , get into at all.
Ooooh, “young adult fiction”. No wonder i never heard of it before.

It’s young adult fiction but there are many adults (not me) going crazy over it too. I have no interest in movie but I’m going to read the books. Because I like vampires and werewolves and such.
The marketing is totally extreme though, and somewhat annoying. It’s probably what turned me off of the movie.
