  1. I won’t lie, I think about stuff like this a lot, because honestly it’s still a bit startling to look back at how different the day to day expenditure of my time has changed in the past couple years. It’s almost like we all were in our own little but promising garage bands for years, but then suddenly had everything disintegrate – at different times and for different reasons for each of us – and suddenly we have to take up other projects altogether (or, for some folks, modify it). And yet somehow some of us keep in touch despite inconvenience, instead of out of convenience… come to think of it, it’s not altogether different from leaving school… which is a bit of an odd analogy to make.

But ya, as you very well know I can ramble about this stuff forever, so I’ll just… stop, so I don’t choke poor Comcast’s internet tubes.

Note: “we” in the above just refers to anyone who’s invested themselves into something with no guaranteed or really even implied direct benefit other than the temporary salvation from the psychosis of the real world, and then one day suddenly found themselves more or less completely disconnected from this previous set of experiences without even fully comprehending the transition. Ya, run-ons. I write em!
