It’s funny, Damian’s editing company in Kingston was “Banana Enterprises” because he loves the comic aspects of the fruit (apparently they’re actually a motherfucking BERRY. Who knew?) but I really don’t like the colour yellow – I blame a bad childhood experience with mustard – and it’s my least favourite colour ever. Ever try designing a website with a “banana” theme without yellow? Yeah. I managed to find a shade I could live with, but anyway.
(And the other day a guy was eating one in the lounge and I walked it and was hit with HOLY-SHIT-A-BANANA-smell. A little bit goes a long way.)
My daughter (and Kimli fan) Marina has another reason to be a Kimli fan: she also hates bananas. Not in an angry way, just a “yuck, gross” way. But hates them.
