My work laptop has a Vista sticker on it, but the tech people put XP on instead because they’re scared of Vista, the latest version of Internet Explorer (7?) and the latest version of Firefox. And for this we pay them 100% overhead.
Yes! XP defeats the evil Vista once again!
Would you be willing to do this to others’ computers? I have a friend with a new Dell that has the dreaded Vista and she *hates* it!
Look at all you Vista haters! I’ll have you know that Microsoft worked hard to… snicker Ahem… they worked hard to make an Operating System for you that was secure and free of bugs cough… okay, I can’t keep it up with a straight face. I still wonder how it turned from what it was supposed to be to what it became.

Maybe I missed a memo… so I’ll follow the crowd like the lemming I am and just say that, other than personal preferences with interface stuff and the ability to address more physical memory, nothing is pulling me toward Vista any time soon. So another +1 for your operation!
I am in awe of your Vista-beating. I tried to get a laptop without Vista two weeks before it came out and it was impossible, so I gave up with a whimper and now use Vista. Over a year later it still confuses me.
